| Robert D. Kinsey, Jr.
Rob was born and raised in the western panhandle town of Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, majoring in marketing and management. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1970 and earned his law degree from UNL in 1973.
Rob's practice is concentrated in the litigation area. It includes product liability, personal injury, and commercial litigation of many types. His litigation practice has included federal litigation in the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Kentucky, Michigan, Nebraska, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas. He has been a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, now American Association for Justice, for over 35 years.
Rob is currently general counsel to the National Horse Carriers Association based in Lexington, Kentucky. He also represents clients with significant personal injuries resulting from automobile crashes.
Rob is legal counsel to Sesostris Shrine Temple and is very active with Shrine activities at the local, regional, national and international level, including his current position on the Jurisprudence and Laws Committee of the Shrine of North America and the Membership Committee's Temple Review and Counsel team of specialists. He has been active in Masonic youth organizations on a local and state level for many years, having received the Mason of the Year Award in 2003 for his work with youth. Rob also served as a board member and general counsel to Farm House International Fraternity for many years, and received the fraternity's highest honor, Master Builder of Men.
Rob is the father of two daughters. His additional outside interests include researching and collecting baby-boomer era trains and toys, and authoring reference articles about Lionel trains.
